Acatenango is one of the highest volcanoes in Guatemala, rising to 3,976 meters above sea level. From the camping zone at 3,600 meters, guests come face to face with the legendary Fuego Volcano — one of the most active in the world — erupting in real time, while the silhouettes of Agua and Pacaya appear on the horizon on clear days.
